1. Privacy as an Inalienable Human Right & The Anti-Surveillance Pledge

At APKworlds, we consider digital privacy to be a fundamental human right, not an optional convenience or a premium tier. Over the past decade, the broader consumer web - and mobile download websites in particular - became dominated by invasive surveillance capitalism. Commercial portals routinely deploy covert fingerprinting scripts, track browsing history across unrelated websites, monetize user device identifiers, and sell access to third-party data broker networks.

APKworlds was founded in November 2025 on the absolute rejection of surveillance capitalism. Our operational pledge is simple, binding, and transparent: we do not sell, rent, barter, license, or monetize your personal data to anyone, ever. We do not deploy invasive third-party analytics trackers (such as Google Analytics or Meta Pixel), we do not run behavioral advertising SDKs, and we do not compile cross-site user profiles. You are free to discover, research, and download verified software across our Apps Catalog and Games Library with complete anonymity.

2. Explicit Inventory of Data We Do NOT Collect

To provide unambiguous clarity regarding our privacy posture, we publish an explicit inventory of the personal data points that APKworlds deliberately does not collect, process, or store:

3. Minimal, Privacy-Preserving Event Telemetry (Aggregated Daily Metrics)

To ensure our infrastructure operates smoothly and to maintain our dynamic discovery charts - such as our Top Charts and Recently Updated Hub - our server records minimal, anonymous aggregate event counts. These records are stored in a lightweight internal database table and are strictly limited to three non-identifying data points:

These metrics contain no Internet Protocol (IP) addresses, no user agent strings, no browser fingerprinting signatures, and no session identifiers. They represent pure aggregate counts (for example: "Application #244 was viewed 142 times on 2026-09-18"). These aggregate statistics allow us to highlight trending titles without compromising visitor privacy in any way.

4. Cryptographic Hashing for Abuse Prevention & Community Integrity

When visitors participate in our interactive community features - such as submitting an app review under our User Review Policy, reporting a safety issue via our Report App Form, or sending an editorial inquiry through our Contact Form - we must protect our systems against automated spam, denial-of-service floods, and astroturfing campaigns.

To balance abuse prevention with privacy, our server utilizes one-way cryptographic hashing. When you submit a review, your IP address is processed through a cryptographic SHA-256 algorithm combined with a secret, regularly rotated server salt. The resulting one-way mathematical hash (e.g., ip_hash) is stored temporarily to prevent automated scripts from casting duplicate ratings. It is computationally impossible to reverse-engineer this hash back into your original IP address. We never store your raw, plaintext IP address in our database.

5. Information You Voluntarily Provide & Handling Protocols

When you choose to communicate with us or submit content voluntarily, we handle your data with strict confidentiality:

6. Technical Cookie Disclosures & Zero-Tracking Architecture

HTTP cookies are small text files stored on your browser to maintain essential session state. Unlike commercial platforms that place dozens of tracking cookies on your device, APKworlds utilizes only strictly necessary, first-party technical cookies:

We do not deploy third-party advertising cookies, performance cookies, or analytics beacons. For a comprehensive technical breakdown of our cookie implementation, please review our dedicated Cookie Policy.

7. Global Privacy Framework Compliance (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, COPPA)

APKworlds complies fully with international privacy legislation, including the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK Data Protection Act, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA / CPRA), Canada's PIPEDA, and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA).

Under these regulatory frameworks, visitors possess fundamental data rights:

To exercise any of your statutory privacy rights, dispatch a request to our Data Protection Officer via our Contact Page or email info.apkworlds@gmail.com. We fulfill verified data subject requests within thirty days without fees or penalties.

8. Outbound External Links & Third-Party Services

Our website features outbound links to external destinations, including Google Play, official developer websites cataloged in our Developers Directory, and regulatory authorities. When you click an external link to visit an official source or download an application directly from a publisher, you leave APKworlds. Your browsing activity on external domains is governed exclusively by the terms and privacy practices of those respective third-party platforms. We encourage visitors to review the privacy notices of external publishers before providing personal data.

If you have questions regarding our privacy practices, technical data handling, or wish to review our broader legal terms, please examine our Terms of Service, our Download Policy, or contact our compliance team directly via our Contact Us Page.
